A full-perimeter glass ring with its own blur, brightness and saturation. Inner and outer corners follow the border radius to the pixel – no gaps.

A specular streak glides across each panel as you scroll, like a fixed light source reflecting on moving glass. Scroll this page and watch it happen!

Subtle warm and cool fringes along the rim, mimicking light splitting at the edge of a thick pane – the detail that makes glass read as glass.

Choose and customize

Open Appearance > Animated BG. Pick an effect, adjust colors, speed and intensity with the live preview in front of you.

Hit save. Your WordPress animated background is live immediately, on every page you chose, on every element you want.

Yes. The effect applies through a CSS class or custom selectors, so it works with Gutenberg, Kadence, Elementor and any theme that outputs standard HTML. Content loaded by AJAX pagination or infinite scroll is styled automatically.

When backdrop-filter is unsupported, the effect degrades automatically to a clean, readable semi-opaque surface.

Always: the glass is painted on layers behind your content, never over it. A “Tinted” preset increases opacity for very busy backgrounds.

No: ~5 KB of CSS and two optional scripts under 2 KB, loaded only where the effect is used. No external requests, ever.
